La Posada is an urban neighborhood popular with residents for its easy access to downtown La Paz and the malecón, both of which are within walking or biking distance, or just a few minutes rideshare ride such as Uber and Didi. There is even a dedicated bike trail that starts in La Posada and runs the length of the La Paz malecón. Home to many local professionals, La Posada is a mix of condos and single family homes, most within a short walking distance to the popular public beach that runs in front of the La Posada Hotel and Beach Club, where local residents can often be found taking their dogs for a walk. Day passes are available at the hotel pool, as well as paddleboard and kayak rentals.
